Birthday parties for children
A birthday boy or girl is more than welcome in the museum windmill!
If you want to celebrate your birthday with your friends, you can do that in Museum Windmill De Nieuwe Palmboom.

The programme includes: visiting the windmill, assisting the miller, creating your own model mill with paper and eating a delicious windmill pancake!

You have to make a reservation in advance (one week before at the latest) and your group must consist of at least 5 children and 10 at the most. Two adults need to be present as well. The programme takes 1½ hours and you can choose which day and time you would like to come (Tuesday till Sunday).

Guided tours
Guided tours are given from Easter to November 1 from Tuesdays to and incl. Sundays to groups consisting of 10 persons or more. Price: € 25,-- during the week, € 30,-- during weekends (a reservation has to be made in advance, one week before at the latest).

National Windmill Day
On the second Saturday in May various festivities take place around the windmills in Schiedam. A leaflet with the full programme is available two weeks beforehand at the Tourist Information Office in Schiedam.
